How to find the total no. of characters translated in a given duration?

I want to identify the total characters that are translated by the translator resource in a given duration. I am using the metric "Text Characters Translated". I am not sure which aggregation is correct for this requirement of mine - "Sum" or "Count"? What does these 2 aggregations signify?

• Count aggregation only counts the number of measurements captured during that interval, without considering the actual values of those measurements. Therefore, for your requirement of identifying the total characters translated, "Sum" is the appropriate choice.
