There are multiple modules within the learning path "SC-400: Implement Information Protection in Microsoft 365" that require access to a sandbox or trial account such as the "Create and manage exact data match sensitive info types" module.

The link in the module brings me to a sign in page I cannot get past. What is the best way to access a sandbox or trial account to complete these modules?

    Hello @Reuben Hagen ,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Q&A forum.

To access a sandbox or trial account for completing modules in the "SC-400: Implement Information Protection in Microsoft 365" learning path, you can set up a Microsoft 365 E5 developer subscription. Here’s how you can do it:

    1. Join the Microsoft 365 Developer Program: This program provides a free Microsoft 365 E5 developer subscription that includes 25 user licenses and lasts for up to 90 days. If you use it for valid development activities, it will renew automatically:
      https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/developer-program/microsoft-365-developer-program-get-started
    2. Set Up Your Subscription:
      • Instant Sandbox: This option comes pre-provisioned with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and Office, along with sample data to simulate a small corporate environment. It’s ready to use immediately.
      • Configurable Sandbox: This option allows you to customize your domain name and populate the sandbox with sample data. It can take up to two days to provision.
      • Access the Sandbox: Once your subscription is set up, you can use it to complete the modules in your learning path.

You can join the Microsoft 365 Developer Program and set up your sandbox subscription: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/dev-program

Please note you have to setup authentication process through the Microsoft Authenticator app.

After getting the subscription, you'll be redirected to the instant sandbox where you can search and select Purview and continue with your learning.
