Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q & A forum.
We understand that you're experiencing issues while trying to create a VM in the sandbox during the "Describe Azure Compute and Networking Services" module. Here are some troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue:
1.Sign Out Completely: Log out from both the Azure portal and Azure Cloud Shell, especially if you have an active Concierge Subscription from a previous module. You may also wait for the sandbox session to expire before attempting again.
2.Activate a New Sandbox: Click "Activate Sandbox" to start a fresh session. This will create a new Concierge Subscription along with a default learn-xxxx resource group. To avoid browser-related issues, try using an incognito/private browser window.
3.Verify the Resource Group: Ensure that the resource group name used in your az vm create command matches the one displayed in the Azure portal under your sandbox environment.
4.Refresh the Sandbox Environment: If you continue to encounter authorization errors, refreshing the Microsoft Learn sandbox can help reset the environment and apply the necessary permissions.
5.Follow Microsoft Learn Instructions: Make sure to execute the Azure CLI commands exactly as outlined in the Microsoft Learn module, using the correct directory (Microsoft Learn Sandbox) and selecting the appropriate subscription.
6.Understand Sandbox Limitations: The Concierge Subscription is a preconfigured environment with restricted permissions. Users cannot modify, delete, or alter subscription settings due to these sandbox limitations.
