How to recover a lost Task in Outlook2021 Professional Plus

My lost task is not in Deleted items nor is it in Junk mail. I cannot find recoverable items and I get no choice to "restore" in any of these places. I can replace it from a backup but my last backup is very old and the task is updated almost daily so a backup is not a good option. Please help if you can.

    Hi @Jay Payne ,

    Welcome to our forum!

I cannot find recoverable items and I get no choice to "restore" in any of these places.

Please refer to the below steps to check and recover items from the Recoverable Items folder:

    User's image

More information: Recover and restore deleted items in Outlook.

If you were not able to find your deleted item in the Recover Deleted Items window, contact your system administrator. If you are using a personal account, i'm afraid that you can not recover the lost Task any more.

    Hope to help you!
