For all the versions till SSMS v20, there is registry entry as follows:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\SQL Server Management Studio\<SSMS.Version>.0_IsoShell_Config\
where we can configure customized items like menu, toolwindow, package, InstalledProducts, services etc. Such registry key is missing for SSMS 21 in registry.
Could you help for the same or any alternate way to do so. Also share if any documentation related to this is available
Was the old path documented anywhere?
I guess the reason that the path above does not work anymore is because the isolated shell that SSMS used to live in is gone. So now, it is more like a normal Visual Studio application, if that helps.
I don't know if this is anything that Microsoft supports. You may have to use Process Explorer to see which registry keys that SSMS 21 reads.
And keep in mind that it is still in preview, so things can change.

SQL Server Management Studio 21 only has Preview version now.
