Macro file not running on different devices!

Question

I have been trying to open a macro file but the data won't load. I can open the file itself but the information I am selecting isn't showing.

I’ve tried the following on the other computers:

Unblock the file from Properties

Saved the second Document as Macro Enabled (.xlsm)

Enabled all Macros in Trust Settings

Enabled Developer Macros in Trust Settings

Verified that the second document is trusted in trust settings

Open and close the second document

Which version of Office you are using, Microsoft 365 Apps, Office 2021 or others?

Do all macro files be blocked?

• I suggest you create a simple macro in a new blank Excel workbook for a test.

Is there any error message when the data cannot be load?

If yes, you may share us with a screenshot for more information.

Verified that the second document is trusted in trust settings

Could you please tell us where this .xlsm file is saved, a file server/network share or local computer?

• If the file is saved on local, do you mean the save path is added as a trusted location in Office?
• If the file is saved on a file server or network share, please add the location (On the intranet) to the Local intranet zone or designate the location as a Trusted site. For more, please refer to: Files centrally located on a network share or trusted website.

In addition, if you have set up security and anti-virus software on your computer, it is recommended to quit temporarily.
