SQL server 2017 setup failed to launch with error here was a failure to calculate the default value of setting INSTALLSHAREDDIR on passive node of the Always on cluster.

Current SQL version : 2014

Error:

    Hi @Sreekanth Soma

    Why you install SQL 2017 while your current version is 2014?As I know, all the nodes in an AG must be the same SQL Server version.Since your current version of SQL Server is 2014, there could be compatibility issues with the new version (SQL Server 2017) installing.
