how can i import a rdp file in the windows app for ios without setting /adding PC up from the beginning

You just need to save your rdp file to your iOS device, find it in your folder and it will open in remote desktop directly.

While your response is a good work around, and I do that myself as well. Unfortunately, it doesn't really answer the question. I've been searching for a way to import the RDP file into the WindowsApp as well, as going to a file folder to launch an RDP file is cumbersome. Microsoft should implement an import/export option just like the MacOS counterpart.
