How can I fix a 'Files exceed maximum limit' problem?

Hi all,

I'm having problems when uploading large files as attachments into the main text box on Copilot.

I have recently been uploading large PDF files from online (usually extensive reports or publications) into Copilot, with sizes of up to 17,000 KB, and Copilot has accepted these uploads and been able to analyse and answer questions about them, or summarise them, with no issue.

However, in recent days, when I have attempted to upload the same files, or files of a similarly large size, I am faced with an error message that reads 'File size exceeds maximum limit,' in a red box above the main text box.

Is anyone aware of a way to solve this problem, so that I can resume uploading large files? I rely on Copilot heavily to summarise key reports and data from online sources, so this is proving to be a big problem.

To clarify, I have a full, premium account through my employer, and to the best of my knowledge, my account has not been changed or downgraded in any way.

Many thanks in advance!

I have a suggestion, skip the whole attachment feature (feels pretty 1995) and just make it understand and accept OneDrive links.
