I am attempting to create a new Conversational Language Understanding project within Language Studio. One of the mandatory fields is 'Utterance prim language' - the field is not doing auto-search and does not recognize option 'English'. I can type in variations of 'En', 'en', 'English', 'English (US)', etc... None these options recognized and NO options suggested to choose form. Hence i cannot proceed to project creation. Please advice.

    Hi,

I have just encountered this issue.

If you create the Language Service in Azure, the Utterances primary language box is empty.

If you create the Language Service using the Language Studio -> Settings -> Resources tab, then it is created properly and the Utterances box is populated as expected.

When you create resource, choose region West US 2 or West Europe Region. I'm not sure why, but it works.

    Hello @Kostoglod, Anna

This is a dropdown box and you can scroll down/up to the language you want. For searching, you need to click the box, typing your word, it will automatically to do the search.

I have created a Gif for you to show the whole process. Please let me know if you have any blockers to do so, I am glad to help!

    Hope this helps!

    Hi @YutongTie-MSFT ,

Thank you so much for your reply.

I see that the dropdown is working for you as it is supposed to. The issue I face is that automatic part of searching is not happening for me. I click search on the dropdown and 0 options are shown, I start typing anything, and no suggestions are made automatically. Since there's no search options at all, the field is not populated.

Here is what it looks like:

I have the same problem as Anna and none of the tricks work for me. Unfortunately I can't find a documentation as well to guide towards the set-up missing or wrong, so raising the question further to get attention.
