Hi guys, I am looking to create an Entity Relationship Diagram in SharePoint.

The option to "add relationships" or "add related tables" is greyed out when trying to create a Database Diagram in SQL Server Management Studio. Does anyone know a way to create relationships in a SharePoint Database using the generic tables SharePoint provides?

    Hello @Anonymous ,

    Welcome to Q&A Forum!

You can use the Microsoft Visio to realize your needs.

Visio supports multiple data sources for reverse engineering, including Excel workbooks, Access databases, SharePoint foundation lists, SQL Server databases, Exchange Server directories, Azure Active Directory information, and other OLEDB or ODBC data sources. This tool does not provide a feature to generate SQL scripts, so it should not be seen as a full database modeling tool.

We suggest that you can go to the Visio help & learning Community to seek more professional help.

    Thanks,
    Echo Du

Create lists with an ID field and a Text field and use them as Lookup tables for other Lists. Works really well, especially with the automatic transport of other Table attributes.
