Hi sir, I'm looking for the iris recognition solution and hitting this topic by chance. May I know what Windows APIs we can use for the iris recognition and where I can find them? I've looked into the documentation but unluckily no relevant stuff found Thanks so much in advance. microsoft-passport

A good start will be from Windows Biometric Framework API which talks about client application references which you can use to develop for biometric tools. You can read about it here . This will also take you to the WINBIO_Identity Structure which can be used further. However, if you need to utilize Azure for trying the Biometric authentication, you can also have a look at our cognitive services called as Azure Face . Thank you . Got your point. So, if we only want to use Iris Recognition for our HoloLens 2 app's sign-in, is it possible? Is there any API for this purpose?
Our assumed scenario is (if possible), when the app starts, it asks for user's login through the way of Iris Recognition. If the user's iris metrics are checked valid (matching the iris metrics recorded in the App, or recorded in the HoloLens 2's Windows), then the login is passed and the user can start to use the app.

@周乐 HoloLens 2 supports Iris authentication. Iris auth in windows is based on Windows Hello technology and is supported for use by both Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Accounts. You can read more about it here
