teams_ Monitoring late joininer to a meeting

Question

I am running a workshop in microsoft teams but want to ensure those joining the call 5 minutes late are either not allowed to join or are kept in a virtual 'waiting room'

can someone show me how this can be done

Hi,
the Lobby settings are not related to join time.
In the Teams Admin Center you can choose Lobby Default Settings or you can choose the specific meeting settings from Teams, but these settings do not change after 5 minutes, it's set for the overall duration of the meeting

The feature waiting in the lobby cannot apply to everyone.
You can modify the related settings in Microsoft Teams admin center > Meetings > Meeting policies > Participants & guests.
