Hello,

I have the following issue:

Infrastructure:

  • LAN: 192.168.30.x

Client: Windows 11 (192.168.30.24) - shared printer

Hyper-V Server: Windows Server 2022 (Domain member, 192.168.30.100)

Virtual Machine: AD Controller, Windows Server 2022 (192.168.30.101)

Issue:

When accessing the shared printer from the Hyper-V Server, everything works as expected.

When accessing the printer from the virtual server, I can see the printer, but as soon as I try to access it, I get error 0x00000709.

If I connect the printer on the Hyper-V Server and print from there, it works fine.

If I then share the printer from the Hyper-V Server, I can connect to it from the virtual server, but print jobs do not go through. After the print job fails, the Hyper-V print server shows the error message: "Access denied".

I have checked all possible solutions, verified permissions, etc., but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

Best regards

Windows Server 2022
