We have an on-Premise Exchange Server. When adding accounts to Outlook Mobile we have to use username@domain.local. We then select Exchange, but cannot change the email address. So it remains username@domain.local. This worked, but recently Outlook updated and we cannot send new emails now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have Exchange 2019 on-Premise, and the Outlook client would only work with username@domain.local. Everything worked okay until recently. It was crashing because it didn't recognize username@domain.local. Microsoft must have fixed the app and then didn't allow for this workaround anymore.

Around 5 pm yesterday the Outlook App started working. We can now add the account with our email address alias[username]@domain.com. We now get the Exchange option and Microsoft 365 doesn't kill it. Before when it wasn't working, this is the message we received:

EasSendFailedPermanentException: An EAS Send command failed: The EAS command failed with Status MailSubmissionFailed, Code ='120' and HttpStatus OK. --> The EAS command failed with Status MailSubmissionFailed, Code ='120' and HttpStatus OK.

    Failure code: 4995

I think Microsoft fixed the issue. Thanks!

    Chad
