Hi,

I have Azure Developer Support Plan. But I can't open anymore service requests. I am redicted here instead. I saw this thread: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/2181959/how-come-i-cant-submit-azure-support-tickets-anymo#body-2181959-comment

So my questions are:

  1. is it true that now we have to submit request here and not anymore in the Azure Portal?
  2. if yes, and this is public site what's the point to pay for Developer Plan anymore?

PS

I haven't received from Azure any notification or message.

thanks

This site is mainly for support community to community, not for Azure services support. If you need specific support for your Azure account then you should continue to use Azure Support.

I'm not clear on how you opened service requests in the past but the feedback icon is still available within Azure Portal for getting help with. For an actual support request for which you have a plan then go to the search bar at the top and type in support. It'll quickly take you to the Help + Support blade and at the top of that is the option to create a support request.

@banto On February 12, 2025, the Azure Developer Support Plan provided a new experience where you receive business hours access to Support Engineers on Microsoft Q&A with prioritized responses, as the first line of support.

After you create a thread on Microsoft Q&A with an Azure tag, an engineer is assigned to your thread and will engage with you in a timely manner to assist you. We want to assure you that you will receive a high-quality support experience with you Azure Developer Support Plan. The main change is the platform where the support is provided.

We sent customer notification to subscription owners on Jan 30th for the upcoming launch. Please note that sometimes we have seen customers set their subscription owner email ID to an administrative email address. You may want to double check what email ID is your subscription owner and check that ID's inbox for the email. If you are unable to locate the email, please let me know if you would like a copy of what we sent out.

For details on the SLA and other plan provided for each support plan, please see here.
