If the Azure Monitor Agent is only sending system logs to Log Analytics despite deselecting system logs and selecting application logs, there are several potential reasons and troubleshooting steps to consider:1.Make that Data Collection Rule (DCR) is correctly set to collect only application logs and exclude system logs.
2.Verify the Azure Monitor Agent is properly installed and configured. Restart the agent service if needed.
3.Check if any workspace settings or policies are overriding your DCR settings.
4.Review diagnostic settings to ensure logs are being directed to the correct tables and there are no conflicts.
5.All Custom logs are correctly specified in the DCR and match the required patterns.
6.Allow up to 30 minutes for changes to reflect in Log Analytics after modifying configurations.
