Hello,

I got the warning message in the Azure service bus.

"Your current minimum TLS version setting is below TLS 1.2, which may indicate that you are using TLS 1.0 or TLS 1.1 to connect to this namespace. With Service Bus deprecating TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 on February 28, 2025, we highly recommend migrating to TLS 1.2 after confirming there are no issues when TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 are disabled."

and MS Azure announcement.

"we are continuing our transition to requiring TLS 1.2 or later for all connections to Azure services. To minimize disruption to customer workloads, several services will continue supporting TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 versions and complete their transitions by August 31, 2025"
https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/updates?id=Update-retirement-TLS1-0-TLS1-1-versions-Azure-Services

What the exact retirement date of TLS 1.0 & 1.1 in the Azure services?

Still support TLS 1.0 & 1.1 by August 31, 2025?

Our services in Azure: SQL Server, Web App, Storage, Service Bus, VM

Thanks,

Eunsu

Welcome to the Q&A platform! Thank you for raising your question.

According to the update, the exact retirement date for TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 in Azure services varies by service. For the Azure Service Bus, TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 will be deprecated on February 28, 2025. However, several other Azure services will continue supporting TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 until August 31, 2025.You can check the link for the retirement dates within the portal. Link

To ensure uninterrupted services, it is highly recommended to upgrade your TLS version to TLS 1.2. If your services are affected, a network trace would show the successful establishment of a TCP connection and successful TLS negotiation before a 401 error is returned if the TLS version used is less than the minimum TLS version configured.
