One of the users has Intune on Linux machine , and suddenly the user name disappeared from Intune after device shows non compliant. when he was trying to make machine compliant he was unable to sign in to the Intune app. he entered User's image

2FA code, and it spins for a few seconds before asking for my password and 2FA code again. It just goes into a continuous loop."

Various links said to uninstall/reboot/reinstall/reboot, clean cache, switch network, disable IPv6.

I want to say that cleaning cache is not very pratical as I've used "--purge" but I also discovered that a lot of directories are still present in $HOME

Tried uninstalling and re install intune app and microsoft edge

Tried $ systemctl stop --user microsoft-identity-broker.service $ mv -v .config/microsoft-identity-broker {,-backup} renamed '.config/microsoft-identity-broker' -> '.config/microsoft-identity-broker-backup' $ systemctl start --user microsoft-identity-broker.service

still issue didnt fix the problem

    @scooby, Thanks for posting in Q&A.

    For your issue, here are some information you can check.

    1.Please check the device status in Microsoft Entra ID, if it's missing from Intune, but still in Entra ID, it may have lost its management connection. If it's also missing from Entra ID, it could be a case of automatic device cleanup due to non-compliance.

    2.Please check the device compliance policy and if there exist some conditional access policy, if possible, could you share the settings of compliance and conditional access policies with us?

    3.Try to clean Microsoft Intune app cache totally in target device and unenroll from Intune, after that restart the device follow the link below to re-enroll Intune.

    Please check above information, if there is any update, feel free to let me know.
