Advice with Linux patch management

Question

Can we use SCCM to deploy Linux operating systems such as Ubuntu or RHEL?

Our internal network is isolated from the Internet. We have several critical virtual Linux servers. The company uses SCCM for our patch management, but now we need to expand this functionality to include patching for the Linux servers.

Unfortunately that's not supported. Generally (as per https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/update-manager/guidance-migration-azure ), the recommendation is to transition to Azure Update Manager (which provides this functionality) - but it doesn't appear that's something you'd be able to take advantage of.
