Automatically distribute content for dependencies

Question

I have deployed an application with an dependent application, then I updated content for the dependent application, it seems the new content didn't update to DP automatically. I have checked the option Automatically distribute content for dependencies.

Anyone has experience on this?

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

If you update the dependent application after deploying the primary application, the site doesn't automatically distribute any new content for the dependency.
