I need to generate an upload file from a Microsoft Excel sheet with Macros. However, I keep getting the statement, 'Modifications are not saved, excel file not generated. Unable to save and generate upload file' in Excel on Mac Book. Any help will be appreciated.

What is an upload file? Did you try to create a file and save to OneDrive?

Did this problem appear in all Excel files?

I suggest you try to record a simple Macro in Excel and check if this problem is still existed.

Upload file: Macros are written into an Excel file so that when the Macro is run, it extracts only the relevant information from the original Excel file and generates another file, which is called the upload file. I hope this clarifies what an 'upload file' is.
