As you have already bypassed the URL in Front Door with the correct configuration but are still experiencing redirection, the issue may be related to the WordPress app configuration. I'm aware that an Azure Front Door was created to replace the original azurewebsites.net domain with a new endpoint/domain (e.g., sishop.cloud...). Beyond this, I'm not aware of any other explicit redirects being set up.

I've attempted to bypass Front Door by directly accessing the original azurewebsites.net domain. However, the redirect still occurs even in this scenario.

I've attached a screenshot of the route settings from our Azure Front Door configuration.

Additional relevant information:

a) I've implemented the Nginx rewrite rules as described in this guide: https://azureossd.github.io/2021/09/02/php-8-rewrite-rule/

b) In the wp-config.php file, we have the following settings:

Since you have already bypassed the Front Door and the page is still being redirected, we kindly suggest checking backend to determine why it is causing the redirection.

The front door functions as a load balancer, and the backend should deliver the same response as the front door.

Initially, you need to verify that why the backend is exhibiting this behavior.

Yes, the Azure Front Door endpoint by default comes with azurefd.net. However, if you want to replace it with a custom domain, you can add your domain and ensure that the records are validated in your DNS provider to access the endpoint with the custom domain

As you mentioned, you have already bypassed the Front Door URL to access azurewebsites.net, but it is still redirecting. You may check if the rule set configurations are properly set as shown below. Rule association

If it it still redirects to the same URL, the issue persists in WordPress itself (not Front Door) and is causing the redirect. Check the $_SERVER['HTTPS'] setting in wp-config.php.

I have created the redirect rule as you described. However, despite implementing this rule, the redirect is still occurring. This suggests that the issue might indeed be persisting within WordPress itself, as you mentioned.

Based on your advice, I will look into the $_SERVER['HTTPS'] setting in the wp-config.php file. If I'm unable to resolve the issue there, I plan to seek further assistance in a WordPress forum, as this seems to be more of a WordPress-specific problem rather than an Azure configuration issue.
