As is known there is no MSI or MSIX for this two office application and while using the Office Deployment tool does just bring a bunch of cab files down and is not clear the organization of the files I wonder is there a way to deploy these to AVD as App Attach, I know is possible to bake this two in a Golden image but is not prefer to.

Thank you

    Hi FE,

I appreciate for your patience. Please try with below suggestion to resolve your query.

    • Install an MSIX Packaging Tool from the Microsoft Store for creating MSIX packages and create a app package by clicking on Application Package option. User's image

Follow below steps by selecting the respective option from MSIX Hero dashboard.

    Step:1-Create a self-signed certificate.

    Step:2-Sign or re-sign MSIX package

Step:3-Create app attach volume. after process is completed, it will be downloaded into your local, after that you can upload that vhd file into SMB file      share storage account.

    • Now, open AVD and click on App Attach and provide the configurations with a respective storage account.
