Getting error in Azure AI studio during index creation. The error message is not clear.

Hello,

I got below error message while creating index on data (word document) stored in Azure AI studio.

The error message is not helpful. Do I need to grant contributor role? If yes, where - Hub, Project or Key vault resource?

The error message you received indicates that the system-assigned managed identity of your workspace does not have access to the key vault. You need to give your workspace's managed identity the "Contributor" role for the key vault linked to your workspace. This will provide the necessary permissions to access the key vault.
