I am using Azure Translator. I see the below graph for my translator resource. What is the significance of dotted line in this graph?

This means there is no recorded data for that specific period. If it waswas inactive or not processing requests during a period, it will show a dotted line to indicate the gap.

It was not inactive. This is a translator resource for my production environment. What could be the reasons that the data was not recorded? Is there any setting which I should check which destroys the data after some time interval? I am curious and surprised because no setting of this translator resource are changed and this has been in use since more than 6 months and no settings are changed since then. So, it should not happen that the data for Dec (lets say) was not recorded but it starts showing up data for the month of Jan Feb.

It’s unusual for data to go missing if your Translator resource was active. This could happen due temporary logging issues, or changes in diagnostic settings. It’s also worth checking if there were any service disruptions or billing-related limits. I’d recommend looking at Azure Monitor → Metrics, Diagnostic Settings to see if anything stands out.
