Issue with git integration in fabric "branch out to new workspace"

Question

I did the git integration with fabric and I use the "branch out to new workspace" option. I have the following error which does not provide too much detail.

Also I noticed that when I am on the shared workspace I switch git branches, anyone who connects to the workspace will be on this new branch. My question is it's possible to be the only one for whom the switch is made and that I am the only one to see my working branch until I have pushed it yet?
