unable to move folder outlook

Please i need your help on this issue.

We are unable to move folder outlook.

I am attempting to move an outlook folder from local storage on my Mac to exchange cloud storage. Outlook displays the following message "Please wait for the current move to finish". I have restarted my Mac and the same error occurs.

 

• There is no evidence that there is any other move or sync operation in progress. I have rebooted the Mac on a number of occasions.
• Outlook is up to date. The version is 16.93.2 (25012611), updated on 30 Jan 2025 before I commenced the move operation.
•  “Sync Status” does not appear on the Tools menu. I have tried using “Command 7” and “Command 8” which should cause this to display with no effect. (The options appearing on the Tools menu are: Sync, Automatic Replies, Rules, Junk email preferences, Accounts, Get Add-ins, Keyboard Shortcuts)

Does copying the folder generate the same error?

If you create the folder and move messages, does it work?
