I was unable to add subscription to my azure 5000 grant gotten from Microsoft for Startup Hub, my debit card was rejected and I saw a response 'you are not eligible for this credit'. I am really confused. I need help please.

    Hello Chinazaekpere Ofodile,

    Thanks for your question.

Azure requires a valid debit/credit card for identity verification (even for grants). The following credit cards are accepted:

    • VISA
    • American Express
    • Mastercard

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/manage/change-credit-card

You can also all your bank to:

    • Confirm the card is not restricted for online/global use.
    • Ask if they see a declined transaction from Microsoft

Once that is solved, View the eligibility criteria here for startups: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-for-startups/application#eligibility-criteria

You can also contact support here: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/create-ticket

You can mark it 'Accept Answer' and 'Upvote' if this helped you

    Regards,

    Abiola
