Unable to Restore Authenicator App from Backup

I have the Microsoft autheniticator app on my iphone 12 pro. I have an icloud backup on the app. I reset my iphone and when authenticator came back it was empty. When I click "Restore from Backup" it asked me to log into a Microsoft account. Every time I log into a Microsoft account it says "Your backup is not stored under @.com. Try Signing in to a different personal Microsoft account." I'm fairly confident that that Microsoft account is correct, but just in case it's not, how do I determine which personal Microsoft account has the backup stored in it. Or is there a broader technical error preventing the icloud backup from being recognized?

Before Microsoft Authenticator reinstallation I made a backup and it was confirmed that the backup was done successfully. After when I'm trying to recover the backup on the same device it tells me that there is no backup to be recovered. What is going on!? I need my authentication codes back! I've had lots of accounts configured and need them back.
