Hello @Edmundo Ruf
Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Q&A.
I would like to confirm that you can create a free Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD Tenant by creating a free account in either of two ways:
- Join the free Microsoft 365 Developer Program. Once you join this program you get a free sandbox, tools, and other resources (for example, a Microsoft Entra account with P2 licenses, pre-configured users, groups, and mailboxes).
- Create a new tenant and activate a free trial of Microsoft Entra ID P1 or P2 in your new tenant.
Once free instance is created you should be able to integrate your lab environment with you free Microsoft Entra Tenant and create all the required services for free and use them for a Month.
But after a Month or once the credit $ amount is used up, you will have to upgrade free trial subscription to pay-as-you-go
Instant Sandbox tenants are currently limited to eligible Visual Studio Subscriptions only, as detailed in this article: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/subscriptions/vs-m365#eligibility
To get free Entra E5 licenses and a sandbox tenant for development/lab purpose. https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/dev-program#Subscription
I hope this clarifies things. Please contact us if you have any additional questions.
