Hello, I would like to create few Azure Data Explorer Free Clusters and use them simultaneously to keep my data for different projects (development), is it even possible? The second question is - is it possible to give some permission to other users to use Cluster URI and explore the Free Cluster? I've sent a link to a friend and he didn't have permissions.

    @Andrzej

    I apologize for any inaccuracies in my previous response.

    Creating Another Free Cluster on the Same Account

    Unfortunately, Azure restricts users to one free Azure Data Explorer (ADX) cluster per subscription/account. If you have already created one, you won’t see an option to add another free cluster in the same subscription.

    Use the existing free cluster - The most practical approach is to leverage the free cluster you have already created. You can organize your different projects by creating separate databases within this single cluster. This provides logical separation and keeps everything within the free tier limitations.

    for how long is the data available on free ADX, is it extendable?

    Azure Data Explorer Free Clusters are available for a one-year trial. During this period, the cluster remains active, and users can utilize the features of Azure Data Explorer. The data in Azure Data Explorer Free Clusters is available for a full year and will be automatically extended. This allows users to maintain access to their analytics database without needing to take additional action.

    Cache Period - The 31-day cache period refers to how long frequently accessed data is kept in faster storage for quicker queries. After this period, older data may still exist but could be stored in slower storage, which may impact query performance.

    For more details, please refer: Create a table's retention and cache policies with the table retention policy wizard

    I apologize again for the incorrect information. Thank you for pointing out my mistake! I appreciate your help in improving my responses.I hope this information helps.
