Unable to Transfer Owner Role To Different Account

I'm unable to add a second owner or transfer my subscription owner role to different local account but not seeing option to do so. I can see the current owner and when I try to add member to the owner role, it prompts me to add role assignment but Owner role is not listed, I'm assuming because it's already assigned?

The current owner is the account I use to administer Azure and EntraID and the subscription only has one owner. If I remove my account, will I be able then add the new account as the subscription owner? I'm worried that I'll lose access to my subscription and won't have the permissions needed to assign owner role to new account if I remove the current owner.

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A,

    You should be able to find the Owner Role in the "Privileged Administrator Roles" tab near the Job function roles that you have referred to in Screenshot 4, Please refer to my screenshot below.
