I am using Windows RDP on Apple iPads to connect.

Apple OS versions from 17.4-18.2. All doing the same since Windows RDP changed.

Symptom is the splash screen is hiding in the back ground. I can use hot keys to bring it to the front but when changing from app to app sometimes it does not open.

    Hello,

You can try other hot keys to bring it in the front:

    1. Command + Tab: This will cycle through your open applications. Keep pressing Command and repeatedly press Tab until you highlight the RDP session, then release both keys to bring it to the front.
    2. Mission Control: Swipe up with three or four fingers on the trackpad or press the F3 key to open Mission Control. This will show all your open windows, and you can click on the RDP session to bring it to the front.
    3. Command + H: This hides the current application. You can use this to hide other applications and then use Command + Tab to bring the RDP session to the front.

Command + Option + H: This hides all other applications except the one currently in focus. You can use this to focus on the RDP session.
