16,0 GB (15,7 GB usable)

I have an Xtool lazer cutter witch is compatible to 2 programs, Xcs sfotware and Lightburn software

The lightburn has no problem to connecting (is a larger software package)

The xcs will not connect via same usb cable

Both programs are the latest version

Xcs has attached files for loading (supplied by Xtool support), however respond with firmware failed

used same program on another computer (dell) less stats than above, same program, same usb cable same com 3...no problem connecting!

I have checked com3 working and no further downloaded required (lightburn software does work through same com 3)

Please advise soonest

    Hello

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the connection issue with XCS:

    1. Ensure that the firmware version on your Xtool laser cutter matches the model. Sometimes, using firmware meant for a different model can cause connection issues.
    2. Make sure you are using the latest version of XCS. Sometimes, updating the software can resolve compatibility issues.
    3. : Navigate to the debug folder in XCS and delete the "exts" folder. Restart the XCS software and try connecting again.
    4. Ensure that the CH340 driver, which is necessary for USB connections, is installed correctly on your Windows 11 Pro machine.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, you might want to reach out to Xtool support again for further assistance.
