what should be my default sunscription in order to allow me creating a new resource group

these are my subscription. both do not allow me to add a new resource group. which subscription should i have in order to be able to create a new resource group?

the error message is:

you do not have permission to create resource groups under subscription gsre-compute-images.

i get this message also when selecting the other subscription

@Nissenkoren, Liron To create resources in any subscription, you need to be a contributor or an owner of the subscription.

If you are using Azure custom roles the permission Microsoft.Resources/subscriptions/resourceGroups/write is required to create Resource Groups in Azure Subscriptions.

If you are a Global Admin, you need elevate your access for all the subscriptions in your tenant - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/role-based-access-control/elevate-access-global-admin

what error message do you get when you try to create the Resource Group?
There could be multiple reasons why it is not possible to create the resource group. For instance:

Missing permission on Azure Subscription level

Inactive/disabled Azure Subscription

Policies might prevent creating Resource Groups
