When Will Azure OpenAI Assistants Support GPT-4o (2024-11-20 Version)?

We are currently using Azure OpenAI Assistants, which only support GPT-4o version 2024-05-13. Unfortunately, this version recently stopped supporting text extraction, breaking our existing systems that rely on this functionality.

OpenAI’s direct implementation is now using GPT-4o version 2024-08-06, which addresses the text extraction issue. However, Azure Assistants still lag behind and do not yet support this version, let alone the latest GPT-4o version 2024-11-20.

This lack of updates is causing significant disruptions to our workflows. Are there any plans or timelines for when Azure OpenAI Assistants will support the 2024-11-20 version of GPT-4o or at least catch up to the 2024-08-06 version currently used by OpenAI?

We urgently need clarity and a resolution to prevent further impact on our systems.
