Hey!
I'm trying to link a tenant to my subscription. When I try, I receive this error:
Cannot create resource with location: 'United States'. Please use location: 'Europe' to create resource for b2b directory: 'mytenat'
The subscription is in my directory (I'm the owner).
The resource group is created in West Europe.
The tenant is in the European Union.

I understand that you are trying to link your Azure tenant to your subscription, but you are receiving an error message that says, "Cannot create resource with location: 'United States'. Please use location: 'Europe' to create resource for b2b directory".
This error message indicates that you need to create the resource in a location that is supported by your tenant. Since your tenant is located in the European Union, you need to create the resource in a location that is also in the European Union. Alternatively, you can change the location of your tenant to West Europe, where your resource is present.
Please try to link your tenant to your subscription again. If you still receive the same error, please share a screenshot of the error message and let me know where your tenant is located.
You can find the location of your tenant under 'Properties', as shown in the image below.

I have created a resource group in both West Europe and Poland Central, but the same error occurs in both regions. My tenant is located in Poland, as shown in the screenshot from the first message. Is there anything I should try? I cannot create a resource in the US, nor can I move tenant data outside the EU Model Clause.
It seems like when using the Azure Portal web site, the region will be set as “United State” by default.

To resolve this issue, you can try creating the resource using PowerShell instead of the Azure Portal website. When using PowerShell, you can specify the location of the resource to ensure that it is created in a region that is supported by your tenant.
