Hi All,

Currently we had a problem in some of our client machine while accessing Configuration Manager Console.

When user accessing CMC (Configuration Manager Console), sometimes this pop-up appear "Configuration Manager cannot connect to the site" (Attahed 1.png). We ensured there's no connection issue while this issue happened.

We dig deeper and also captured some network pcap while trying to reproduce this issue. Somehow while reproduce the issue we found client machine sometimes not sending the "AuthInfo SPNEGO" in RPC network packet. (Attached 2.png)

Details of our environment:

  • MECM Server deployed on prem
  • CMC version 5.2309.1113.1000
  • Site version 5.0.9122.1000

Kindly advice and appreciate for all of your response.

Thank you

    Hi, @Yudhi Laksana

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

You may try to open SSMS and connect to the site database, then navigate to <Server>/Security/Logins, check if the computer account is there.

If not, add it. If yes, remove it and add it back with the same setting. Then check the results.

Apply the latest hotfix for the SCCM site. I experienced this issue previously, and applying the hotfix resolved it. 🤓
