Windows 11. Office 2019. Dell Optiplex 7780 all in one. Konica Minolta MFP.

Allegedly had a failed windows update and/or bios update that caused this issue. I personally didn't witness it but the person described a bios update screen. Office programs could print to the MFP just fine before this occurred.

Bios log didn't show a failed update but I cannot guarantee it does show failed updates. It does show successful updates.

Flashed bios with the newest version successfully, which happened to release today. No change.

Tried repairing office, in-place reinstall of windows 11, reinstalling office, reinstalling printer and drivers.

Other people on the network can print just fine to the MFP.

Tried different versions of the MFP driver.

Office programs on the 7780 can print to a smaller HP officejet. Notepad can print to the Konica MFP.

Did 2 full reloads of windows 11 using bootable media. On the 2nd attempt, office could print to the Konica for a couple of minutes and then not again. This was when windows updates were installing in Settings and stopped working after rebooting for updates.

When printing to the Konica with office, the office program freezes and the print job never enters the print queue.

Tried printing wired, wireless, disconnected external devices.

    Hi,

You can try the suggestions below:

Update Printer Firmware: Verify if there is a firmware update available for the Konica Minolta MFP that might address compatibility issues with Windows 11.

Check Print Spooler Service: Ensure that the Print Spooler service is running correctly. Sometimes, stopping and restarting this service can resolve printing issues.

Just checking in to see if the information was helpful. Please let us know if you would like further assistance.
