touchscreen resets to mouse touch with every startup

I have an RTK FHD HDR touchscreen 10 point multitouch resistive monitor connected to my PC running Windows 10 version 21H1 build 19043.928. There is an HDMI connection for video and a USB-C to USB-A for power and touchscreen data. Everything is set-up, calibrated and operational as it should, but with every restart of the system the monitor resets itself to mouse touch. (1 point operation with a mouse pointer). If I disconnect the usb power and connect it back in, it returns back to normal. I have checked the drivers in Device Manager under Human Interface Devices (HID-compliant touch screen)  and Mice and other pointing devices (HID-compliant mouse)  but it is the same drivers that disappear and reappear everytime. Could I possibly write a script or have a task scheduled to automate my workaround so that I don't have to reach at the back of the PC every time? Thank you in advance for any input.

    Hello Nikos Kefaloyannis

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Of course you can. You can use PowerShell commands Get-PnpDevice; Disable-PnpDevice; Start-Sleep; Enable-PnpDevice to write a script to reset touchscreen,

And the create a task to auto run the script when power is on.

I hope the information above is helpful.
