From Azure doc: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/reliability/cross-region-replication-azure?source=docs#azure-paired-regions got that West US3 is paired in one direction with East US.

I would be really beneficial for our organization to take advantage of bidirectional pairing.

I would useful to know if West US3 will be bidirectionally paired with East US.

Is this in Azure plans?
Also, in case of yes, it would be useful to have a general date for that.

    Hi Pasquini, Matteo (Admin)

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform! Thank you for asking your question here.

West US 3 is currently paired with East US in a one-way setup, meaning East US can act as a backup for West US 3, but not the other way around. There are no plans from Azure to make this a bidirectional pairing at the moment.
