Currently am for my project am now trying to create an environment that will for example when I open the environment from anywhere, it will scan my surroundings and the necessary holograms will come out and stay there. And the Holograms will be at a fixed point so that for example if a person has never been to that location before and is there for the first time, using the environments feature they are able to immediately understand their surrounding and be able to navigate to what they need at that specific location. I do not know if I am supposed to use for example spatial mapping or spatial anchors or any other as I am quite lost.

    Hello, Welcome to Microsoft Q&A,

“it will scan my surroundings and the necessary holograms will come out and stay there” – you can use World Locking Tools(WLT) to position your holograms in a real environment. For more details on how to use it, please see - World locking and spatial anchors in Unity - Mixed Reality | Microsoft Learn.
