Reran build last evening and all went fine. so assuming some trouble with west europe?
internalserver error when deploying firewall
Have been unable to deploy Azure firewalls today, using either deployment pipelines or using the portal, even tried differenent tenant to rule out any forced policies, same error:
{
"code": "InternalServerError",
"message": "An error occurred.",
"details": []
}
Here is what i tried:
- Rerun same build that worked yesterday
- Changed SKU from premium to standard (in code)
- Tried through the portal with new Policy and PIP
- Tried in a completely different tenant, new resource group, vnet, pip etc. still same error
Only thing i didnt try was changeging region to other then westeurope.
any suggestions?

2023-12-08T14:00:58.03+00:00 Hello, I've got the same error when deploying Azure Firewall (basic SKU) in NorthEurope region:
{"code":"InternalServerError","message":"An error occurred.","details":[]}
Tried to recreate public IP from scratch and also tried to add UDR with default route to internet but still getting the same result... Could it be that the same bug appears in NE region?
Thanks
Jan
