My VM are not showing up on the session host of my pool

Even if I create my VM directly from the session host and the deployment is successful the VM is not showing up on the pool. Can you help me please? My pool seems created and configured correctly.

Can you see the DSC extension installed on your session hosts? Has it the status of provisioning succeeded?

Prrudram-MSFT 27,786 Reputation points2023-09-12T17:44:44.57+00:00 If you have created a session host VM directly from the session host and the deployment is successful, but the VM is not showing up on the pool, there could be a few reasons for this.
First, make sure that the VM is registered with the Azure Virtual Desktop service. You can check this by running the following command on the session host VM:
Get-RdsSessionHost -TenantName <tenant-name> -HostPoolName <host-pool-name> -Name <vm-name>Replace
<tenant-name>,<host-pool-name>, and<vm-name>with the appropriate values. If the VM is not registered, you can register it using the following command:Add-RdsSessionHost -TenantName <tenant-name> -HostPoolName <host-pool-name> -Name <vm-name> -VirtualMachine <vm-object-id>Replace
<tenant-name>,<host-pool-name>,<vm-name>, and<vm-object-id>with the appropriate values.<vm-object-id>is the object ID of the VM in Azure.If the VM is registered, make sure that it is in the correct availability set and virtual network. The availability set and virtual network must match the availability set and virtual network of the other session host VMs in the pool.
If the VM is in the correct availability set and virtual network, make sure that it meets the requirements for a session host VM. The VM must be running a supported operating system and have the Azure Virtual Desktop agent installed.
If the VM meets all the requirements and is still not showing up on the pool, try restarting the Azure Virtual Desktop agent service on the VM using the following command:
Restart-Service -Name "RDAgent" -ForceThis should restart the Azure Virtual Desktop agent service and register the VM with the Azure Virtual Desktop service.
If none of these solutions work, you may need to troubleshoot further by checking the event logs on the session host VM and the Azure Virtual Desktop service. You can also create a support case with Microsoft for further assistance.
