How does Other missing updates and security missing updates are coming together in Azure update management?

Hi,

In Azure I have two VMs, Namely "App1" and "App2". Both are supposed have same OS patching cycle. When I was checking update management total missing updates are 27. But in "App1" I have 16 security missing updates and 11 other missing updates. In "App2" I have Zero security missing updates and 27 other missing updates. Why such a difference?

Could you please check the last run of scheduled deployment, and whether it was successful?
Also, you may refer the following link to get details of security patch on both VMs (installed and pending updated) to see if there are any differences (may be due to accidental OS config change): Linux updates shown as pending and those installed vary
