trixie360: What’s the story behind your gamertag?
Ugly Bear: My gamertag was given to me by a two year old. When I first bought my Xbox I was mulling over what to use as a gamertag. A decision I put some thought into. My nickname is Bear and my friend’s son calls me Uncle Bear. At the time however it only came out as something like "Uggle Bear." We'd laugh and say either that's Uncle Bear or Ugly Bear. It stuck. It was adopted as my gamertag.
trixie360: Where do you live?
Ugly Bear: Victoria, BC, Canada
trixie360: What do you do in Victoria?
Ugly Bear: I find myself currently relieved of the burden of my day job. So I'm in the process of looking for another. However, this has given me the opportunity to focus on music and play more shows and open mics. Including a showcase for local radio station The Zone.
trixie360: What’s the worst or weirdest job you’ve ever had?
Ugly Bear: Well the last job was the worst I ever had but weirdest would have to be working for an telephone answering service. The constant switching from the banality of talking to realtors to the next call being a pregnant woman in labour, or other such life and death things.
trixie360: How long have you been on Xbox LIVE?
Ugly Bear: Two fun-filled years.
trixie360: Do you have an arch enemy on Xbox LIVE?
Ugly Bear: No, not really. The closest thing to that would be my friends. Nothing is sweeter than giving a good friend an XBL beat down. :D
trixie360: What’s your Xbox set-up like?
Ugly Bear: I game on a 42" Samsung Plasma and have a low end, but adequate, surround sound system.
trixie360: What’s the best feature of Xbox LIVE?
Ugly Bear: Party Chat. Easily. It's like having your friends in the same room even if they live abroad now.
trixie360: What is your favorite multiplayer Xbox game?
Ugly Bear: Well it's currently Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare . I'm sure Modern Warfare 2 will take that place when I can actually get a copy. :/
trixie360: What is your favorite single player Xbox game?
Ugly Bear: Bioshock is high up there. As are Mass Effect and Fallout 3 .
trixie360: What is your favorite Xbox LIVE Arcade game?
Ugly Bear: Puzzle Quest and Geo Wars 2 .
trixie360: What do you think is the best game of all time?
Ugly Bear: Sure, ask the hard questions. I adore the other two original Fallout games, Deus Ex is fantastic, Baldur's Gate.
trixie360: What do you think is the best film of all time?

Ugly Bear: My objective choice is The Godfather 2. My subjective choice is Big Trouble in Little China.

Ugly Bear: Blood on the Tracks - Bob Dylan

trixie360: What’s the funniest thing you’ve ever heard on Xbox LIVE?
Ugly Bear: I mute game chat almost automatically so the funniest things are usually my string of nonsensical made-up curses when I die.
trixie360: I’ve invented some doozies myself, usually involving the suffix ‘baggery’, monkeys, and hygiene products. What’s your favorite TV show?
Ugly Bear: Of all time, Millennium. Currently airing is probably Supernatural.
trixie360: Who is your inner rock star?
Ugly Bear: Well I am my own inner rock star. He's out now :D As far as others go: Bob Dylan.
trixie360: If they made a movie about your life, who should play you?
Ugly Bear: Donal Logue.

Ugly Bear: Jeff Tweedy of Wilco... He's the perfect level of success in the music business. Dedicated fans, sells lots of records and tickets, but isn't so big he'd get mobbed or have to play giant arenas where it's impossible to connect with an audience.

Ugly Bear: How versatile it is. It's my media hub. I watch DVD's on it. Listen to music. Stream video content to it.

Ugly Bear: Call of Duty 4 - Mile High Club, for sure.

Ugly Bear: Playing shows. Making Records.

Gary Busey would be simultaneously the best and the worst roommate ever - worst cuz he'd be, well, himself and best cuz you could mess with him all the time. I'd probably try to sell him his own shoes but that's why I don't make a good roommate either, ha ha.Anonymous
