A Moment with Bad Company 2
While Crosseyed Jim swung the chopper along the enemy flank, I sat, shoulders squared and ready for tangos at the side-mounted machine gun, trying not to admire the smoldering fires playing out on the nearby mountainside across the waterway.
I was brought swiftly back to the task at hand when a nearby enemy soldier whiffed on his RPG attempt. Big mistake. The fat smoke trail led my eyes back to a lone opponent, crouched carefully behind a fence. While I spun up the turret, I smiled. Wood shattered, splinters flew, and the would be heli-killer took a face full of .50 cal, sending him screaming back to the respawn screen.
Meanwhile, our Squad-mate DMZilla stormed the Alpha objective, planting the bomb unseen among the chaos and then darting back out to a nearby outbuilding to cover the objective.
Like busy-little ants from my sky-high perspective, the enemy forces materialized in a desperate push to disarm the bomb They never got close.
The poor lads were cut down at every angle of approach thanks to a secure perimeter, good aim, and the trail of death wrought by my .50 cal after an alert teammate began tagging every enemy he could sight in on.
That moment in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 lasted all of a minute, and it was glorious. What new moments await? I’m logging in to find out.

How many F words were used in the game? Is ther a way to get rid of the foul language?Anonymous
March 03, 2010

Although it is not needed...it does coexist with the genre. And again, it is rated M, although this still does not necitate its use and the fact that nowadays parents don't hold kids accountable for thier game, music, and video purchases.Anonymous

What about the campaign? Why is everything focused on PvP environments? The best part of the first Bad Company was the storyline and the characters for the single player campaign. What I wanted to see, was a campaign that could be done coop with friends over Xbox live or split screen. That is what will make the game go from good to great.Anonymous

Yeah! They should have at least put system link with bots in the game. "Give them a buck and theyll take two."Anonymous

Yea the game is rated M so some amount of foul language is going to exist, as it does in real life. The problem with the game is it seems to be used just because they can, not because it adds anything to the game. arcflash, if you think the use of foul language is related to the size of your genitalia you're in for a real surprise if you ever reach maturity.Anonymous

Bad Co. 2 is awesome.. I have started a BFBC2 Clan called Shadow Spectre ops. Please check out the website if you get a chance. We are currently recruiting, it is a new game and a new clan so don't be put off by the limited number of participants we are recruiting to build one of the top battlefield bad co 2 clans out there. .. hope to see you all on the battlefield.Anonymous

Yeah, I have heard real soldiers speak. I have also seen them die and they don't respawn. Come on, there should be a way to filter the language if you want to. Pure and simple. The rating doesn't matter and the realism isn't the same anyway because it's a GAME! Baseball players swear a lot too but they don't put that in all the baseball games. Poor argument against a simple request.Anonymous

the game is great, and if any body thinks the four "F" words that are in the game are unecessary then you need to be more mature, just as the game is rated M for mature. It clearly states by the rating Blood, strong language, and violence are prevelant. Theres no bad language switch in a Rated R movie, so u shouldnt expect it out of a video game, and im pretty sure any kids who watch this game are aware of swear words by the time they are 8 or 9.Anonymous

The code will work as soon as you sign in to Xbox Live, it will ask you if you want to put the code in, and you have to manual put in the dash marks, Hope it works!Anonymous

It is easy to see why this argument arises nowdays. Even though I enjoy playing these games, I had the advantage of being in the military before actually playing the games. So I am amazed at how people look at the cursing in a different light than the death, as if more important, and less suitable for kids. But I also see the effects as new soliders are recruited all the time, which have the same twisted video game mentality towards life thinking the worst parts are the things which go on and the thought of dying is just a joke and not real. No real devotion to what they are doing just a military game. Off topic I know but I thought it worth saying.Anonymous

I am sure that the time taken up in this argument could have been better spent killin' some F**KING russians or whatever. Go for the HEADSHOT... Nah let's talk bout the choice of dialouge...Anonymous

John what you said is completely true i am in the military and there are soldiers here at ait that still have the mind set that this is just a game and not the real world. And if your are complaining about the cursing in the game how about you watch some of the cartoons the children watch these days there is at least one curse word an episode whether it be verbal or through hand gesturesAnonymous

I agree with Ron Allen, should have some way of getting rid of the language. It doesn't make the game any better, but does limit who can play it.
