Windows Server 2012 Ask the Expert Sessions
Two weeks ago we ushered in the era of the Cloud OS with the launch of Windows Server 2012. By now, we hope you’ve had a chance to watch the Built from the Cloud Up keynote videos, download a Windows Server 2012 evaluation and try your hand at the $75,000 Launch Game. You may also have questions about how to put all this amazing technology to work in your datacenter. Our Ask the Experts series has the answers.
What is an Ask the Experts session? We asked our community for Windows Server 2012 questions and you responded. Those responses were compiled into the most frequently asked questions and sorted across three topic areas. Then, we flew in special guest host Rod Trent (IT community dignitary and CEO of myITforum) to MC the sessions and present your questions to top engineering experts on video. These recorded sessions are now available to you. Here are more details by session:
Transform the Datacenter - Ask the Experts
Please join our Microsoft datacenter experts Erin Chapple, Thomas Pfenning, Sandeep Singhal, and Bryon Surace and host Rod Trent discuss the answers to your virtualization, storage, networking, management and other datacenter-related questions. Enable Modern Apps – Ask the Experts
Microsoft modern application experts Won Yoo, Corey Sanders, Scott Hunter and host Rod Trent provide expert answers to web server, IIS, and other questions about enabling modern applications. To watch the Enable Modern Apps Ask the Experts session click here.

Hi ! I intend to implement Windows Server 2012 Essentials in 1 st week of October. My challenge is that the Distributors in India are not aware of the availability and pricing. My questions:
- When will the product be available for purchase ?
- What would be indicative pricing?
- Will it be available via retail pack/OEM PAcks or only via Volume Licensing ?
