Thanks to the warm welcome in Newcastle for the TechNet team

It was wonderful to see so many enthusiastic people at our event in Newcastle today. Upon reflection perhaps my 5 minute crash course in PKI was a little too much!

George posted the following image of us at a local pub quiz thanks to Jonathan who took us to a brilliant nearby pub with a smashing curry and Theaksons ale.

I can't believe that the winning team scored 96 out of a possible 100 points - we can second with 93 points.

Shame on you lot.  You only came second?  Well don't go asking for promotions / bonuses / large payrises etc. until you better that score ;-)

Was my first technet event - and i really enjoyed it. Quite liked the 5 minute PKI demo - and agreed with the comment about not using outlook web access - although i have to say that as most people arn't using digital certificates or encryption email isn't that secure anyway. I work in IT and deal with lots and lots of companies including certificate providers and to date have only got 1 signed message (from verisign after i queried why they weren't using them even when they were trying to sell me one. Well done in the pub quiz. 1st loser isn't a bad position.

Thanks for another great day up here in Newcastle, found this afternoons session very interesting and will be looking into DPM further. Also I may well be in touch soon to pick your brains on wireless security if thats OK. Would also be great if use can come back again in the new year :)

Hello thanks for a very interesting event, we were told in the morning session about an initiative called IT Pro Momentum where if we register we can get a Technet Plus subscription.  Do you have any idea who we need to speak to or where we look to register?
